Property Tax Information: Property taxes are due the First Friday in May and the First Friday in November. Property bills are sent out ONCE every year in late August and follows the Fiscal year of July 1st - June 30th. For more property tax info and ways to pay: Click Here

Woodstock Boards and Commissions:
Boards, Committees and Commissions play an integral role in the community. They are comprised of citizens who generously volunteer their time and expertise. Being a Board member is a way to participate in community affairs, to work with interesting people in our community. Anyone who is a Woodstock resident and would like to offer their services is welcome to apply for a seat on a Board, Committee or Commission.
The Board of Village Trustees has five members who are elected at large and who are responsible for determining Village policy. The Chief Executive Officer is the Municipal Manager who is appointed by the Board of Village Trustees and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Village.
The Town Selectboard is the elected legislative and executive body responsible for the general supervision and control of a Town's affairs. Their primary duties include the annual municipal Town budget, sets the tax rate, maintenance of town property, maintaining Town roads, local liquor control commission, enacting local ordinances, and appointing various local committees and commissions.

Change of Address:
**The Grand List is updated once a year every April 1st - property bought after the list updates will have tax bills that bear the name of the previous owner until the next Grand List update in April.
If you have moved into the Town or Village or have a change to your Address click the link below to update your address, phone number, and email address, or come into the Town Hall second floor and fill it out in person.
Homestead Declaration:
If you have moved to Woodstock and will be a FULL TIME RESIDENT you will need to fill out a Homestead Declaration form. The form is due on April 15th of EACH YEAR to the Vermont Tax Department with your income tax form. For more Information Click Here

Trash and Dump Information
Woodstock residents can dispose of household trash and recycling at Hartford Recycling and Waste Management Center (2590 N. Hartland Rd, White River Jct.). You will need a Town of Hartford permit and disposal coupons purchased in advance at the Woodstock Town Clerk's Office.

- Requirements: Woodstock residents must buy a windshield sticker permit and punch/coupon books at the Woodstock Town Clerk's Office prior to using the facility.
- Curbside Pickup: If you prefer private collection, you can set up weekly residential garbage and recycling pickup with local haulers like Casella.
