<p><strong>On March 11, President Joe Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law, awarding millions of dollars directly to cities, towns, and villages.</strong><br /> <b><br /> <strong>As of February 2023, the Town of Woodstock has $616,385.47 and the Village of Woodstock has $159,094 to invest in projects for the betterment of the community. </strong></b>According to the federal guidelines, these funds must be used for projects that respond to the health crisis; support broadband access and improve water systems; provide funds for investment in the community; and/or premium pay for essential workers.</p>
<p>Both the Town and Village have identified several projects that are eligible to be funded using ARPA money and have the opportunity to positively impact Woodstock by meeting a number of high-priority goals. <b>But w</b><strong>e are also looking for your feedback on these projects and ideas of your own.
